Do you allow custom COM components?

We do not offer installation of custom COM components. Custom COM components can degrade our service level, as we cannot ensure that the component will not cause crashes, exhaust server resources, and/or be malicious.

However, we do allow the use of any ASP.NET components that do not require registration. Those components (assemblies or DLLs) should be uploaded to the Bin folder of a web application.
